Editing scope, package limits and project conditions.
Agreeing the work
Trugrir edits supplied English copy for readability and accessibility of language. Before acceptance, we agree the readers, purpose, source documents, required terminology, deliverables, deadline and total price. A package selection or enquiry does not confirm an order.
Packages and prices
Focused edit: CAD 360, up to 1 document(s) and 1,500 source words in total; 1 revision round(s); first draft in 4 business days. Connected documents: CAD 780, up to 3 document(s) and 4,000 source words in total; 2 revision round(s); first draft in 7 business days. Content collection: CAD 1,480, up to 6 document(s) and 8,000 source words in total; 2 revision round(s); first draft in 10 business days. Reference prices are in CAD before applicable taxes. We confirm taxes and the total price before acceptance. This website does not take payments.
Scope and deliverables
Each package covers one English editing project within both the document and source-word limits. One document is one separately titled page or file agreed in the brief. Source words include headings, body copy, labels and instructions across all supplied documents; shortening the final text does not increase the source allowance. We deliver an edited DOCX with changes marked, a clean TXT copy and editorial notes for your approval.
Timing and revisions
First-draft timing starts after complete source material and project confirmation. Time awaiting your replies is excluded. One revision round is one consolidated set of comments within the same brief and source material; allow up to 3 business days after complete feedback for each round. Additional documents, new source text or a changed brief require agreement on price and timing before work begins.
Work outside the packages
The packages cover text editing. Website implementation, PDF remediation, assistive-technology testing, audience testing, translation, legal review and accessibility audits or certification are outside the scope. Required legal or technical wording is flagged for approval rather than silently removed.
Information and final approval
You confirm the accuracy and use rights of source material, specialist meaning and wording that must remain. We raise questions about missing or conflicting information. You approve the final text and its use. Copy editing does not guarantee legal or technical accessibility compliance or a particular result for every reader.
Changes and cancellation
Payment arrangements, cancellation terms and additional work are agreed before project confirmation. Changes to the brief, source text or deliverables require agreement on price and timing before extra work begins.
Using the website
Email and telephone links depend on compatible applications. This website cannot verify email delivery or confirm a contract or payment. The privacy and cookies pages describe the supplied code’s handling of enquiry text and browser storage.
